Note: Due to no volunteers coming forward to become ECC HOA Social Chair, and little news, if any to report, the Elk Creek Express newsletter is on hold for publication.

The owner at 4004 North Branch Dr has been told before and a letter has been sent before about his trailer being parked in the driveway for long periods of time and it still has not been moved, it has not moved in over 3 months. The covenants say that boats, trailers etc cannot be stored in this manner. Please contact said owner again to see if he will comply to our covenants. It is an eyesore.
Is there still a committee in charge of the covenants?
Is ECC HOA looking for members?
Thanks Megan for your question. I shall forward your question to HOA President Eric Oxley.
Does anyone know about a possible noise ordinance in regards to the new bar, Geno’s, that’s in our neighborhood? We went for a walk on Pappio Trail the other night and it sounded like Fraternity row! The bar continued to blast live music well into the night (speakers were on the patio) and I’m sure it could be heard well into Elk Creek Crossing. I hope this is not a regular occurrence with this new “neighborhood bar” Are they allowed?
Hi Dave. From my knowledge as a former journalist, you would need to file a report with police, preferably the OPD written phone report line, non-emergency. I telephoned the Omaha City Planning Department today regarding your complaint about Geno’s bar west of Elk Creek Crossing. I was advised that if you are bothered by the noise, you could write a letter to the city clerk’s office.
